The German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer (Deutsche Universität für Verwaltungswissenschaften Speyer) is a small, highly specialized public university located in Speyer, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Founded in 1947 as the Academy of Administrative Sciences Speyer and renamed in 1990, it is one of Germany’s oldest and most prominent institutions dedicated to public administration. The university is exclusively a graduate institution, offering master’s and doctoral programs as well as executive-education courses. With a very small student body, it operates in a seminar-style, research-oriented environment close to government and administration practice.
