EIT InnoEnergy is a European knowledge and innovation community (KIC) in sustainable energy, headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. It operates through a partnership model that includes the private company EIT InnoEnergy SE and the Dutch foundation ISE – The Institute of Sustainable Energy (Stichting). Rather than functioning as a traditional degree-awarding university, it designs and supports highly ranked Master's programmes in sustainable energy, entrepreneurship and innovation in collaboration with leading European technical universities and business schools. It also invests in start-ups, runs innovation projects, and builds ecosystems to accelerate the energy transition. ISE – The Institute of Sustainable Energy (Stichting) is the Dutch legal foundation associated with EIT InnoEnergy. It supports the organisation’s mission to foster education, research, and business creation in clean energy and related fields across Europe.
