William Carey University

William Carey University is a private Christian university in Mississippi affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention. Originally founded in 1892 as a Baptist seminary, it was renamed in honor of English missionary William Carey and achieved university status in 2006. The institution offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs across disciplines such as business, education, nursing, music, and the arts, and is particularly known for its College of Osteopathic Medicine and School of Nursing. The university’s main campus is located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with an additional campus in Biloxi and extensive online offerings.
