The University of Oklahoma (OU) is a public research university founded in 1890, shortly before Oklahoma achieved statehood. Its main campus is located in Norman, Oklahoma, with additional major campuses in Oklahoma City (the Health Sciences Center) and Tulsa (the Schusterman Center).
