Grambling State University

Grambling State University is a public historically black university located in Grambling, Louisiana. Founded in 1901 as the Colored Industrial and Agricultural School by Charles P. Adams, it grew into Grambling College and achieved university status in 1974. The institution is part of the University of Louisiana System and offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across fields such as nursing, computer science, criminal justice, education, and business. The university is nationally recognized for its marching band, the World Famed Tiger Marching Band, and its historically strong NCAA Division I athletics program, particularly football.
