Florida International University

Florida International University (FIU) is a public research university based in Miami, Florida. It is the largest university in South Florida and one of the largest in the state by enrollment, with its main University Park campus located in West Miami and a second Biscayne Bay Campus in North Miami. FIU is classified as an R1 doctoral university with very high research activity and is especially recognized for its programs in international business, engineering, hospitality and tourism management, law, and environmental sciences. The university serves a highly diverse student population and maintains extensive global partnerships, particularly across Latin America and the Caribbean.
