Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) is a public historically black university located in Tallahassee, Florida. Established in 1887, it is the oldest and largest HBCU in the United States. FAMU is known for its strong emphasis on agriculture, engineering, and other STEM fields. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, and it is also home to the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering, a joint program with Florida State University.
