Queen's University Belfast

Queen's University Belfast is a public research university located in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and a member of the Russell Group. Founded in 1845 as Queen's College Belfast, it received its university charter in 1908. It offers a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across three faculties: Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; Engineering and Physical Sciences; and Medicine, Health and Life Sciences. The university is known for its research output, strong industry links, and a large global alumni network. The main campus is in South Belfast, close to the city centre, combining historic architecture such as the Lanyon Building with modern teaching and research facilities. Queen's serves a diverse student community and provides extensive support services, including libraries, accommodation, sports facilities, and a wide range of student societies and cultural activities.
