GUS - University of Europe for Applied Sciences

The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) is a private, state-recognized university in Germany and part of the Global University Systems (GUS) network. It offers practice-oriented bachelor's and master's programs in fields such as business, psychology, media, communication, sports management, art, and design. The university emphasizes internationality, interdisciplinary learning, and close ties to industry, with instruction in English and German across its campuses. UE operates campuses in Berlin, Hamburg, Iserlohn, and Potsdam, attracting a diverse student body from around the world. It was formed in 2017 through the merger of predecessor institutions, including the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule (BTK) and the University of Applied Sciences Europe in Iserlohn, building on educational traditions dating back to 1995.
