Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart (HdM), also known as Stuttgart Media University, is a public university of applied sciences in Stuttgart, Germany. Founded in 1990, it specializes in media, communication, information technology, and business-related disciplines. The university offers practice-oriented bachelor’s and master’s programs and maintains close ties with the media, publishing, and IT industries. It is also active in applied research through institutes and labs focused on areas such as digital publishing, audiovisual media, computer science, and economics. HdM operates two urban campuses in Stuttgart: the main campus in Stuttgart-Vaihingen at Nobelstraße and a city-center campus at Breitscheidstraße.
