The University of Connecticut (UConn) is a public land-grant research university headquartered in Storrs, Connecticut. Founded in 1881 as the Storrs Agricultural School, it has grown into the state's flagship institution and a member of the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities system. UConn offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs across its main campus in Storrs and regional campuses in Hartford, Stamford, Waterbury, and Avery Point, as well as a School of Law and a School of Medicine.
