The Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM), also known as the University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen, is not located in the United States. It is a public higher-education institution in the Mittelhessen region of Hesse, Germany, with campuses in Gießen, Friedberg, and Wetzlar. THM was formed in 2010 through the merger of predecessor institutions dating to 1971, and it focuses on practice-oriented bachelor's and master's programs in engineering, natural sciences, economics, social sciences, and health. THM serves a large student body and maintains strong ties to regional industry and applied research.
