Roosevelt University

Roosevelt University is a private, nonprofit university located in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1945 by faculty and students who left Central YMCA College in protest of racial and religious discrimination, the university was named in honor of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt.
