The Krannert School of Management is the business school of Purdue University, a major public land-grant research university in West Lafayette, Indiana. Founded in 1962 with support from industrialists Herman and Ellnora Krannert, the school has long offered undergraduate, MBA, specialized master’s, and doctoral programs in areas such as finance, marketing, operations, strategy, and quantitative management. It is closely tied to Purdue’s strengths in engineering, technology, and analytics, and its facilities have centered on the Krannert Building and Rawls Hall on the West Lafayette campus. As part of Purdue, Krannert students share a large research-university environment with extensive libraries, labs, career services, and student life resources. In recent years Purdue’s business school has continued under the Mitch Daniels School of Business name while remaining the university’s primary home for management education; historical references to Krannert still identify this unit. The school serves domestic and international students and maintains strong employer ties in manufacturing, consulting, technology, and consumer industries.
