Marquette

Marquette University is a private Jesuit research university located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 1881 by the first Catholic bishop of Milwaukee, John Martin Henni, and named after 17th-century Jesuit missionary Jacques Marquette, the university is affiliated with the Society of Jesus.
