Institut Agro Rennes

Institut Agro Rennes-Angers (often referred to as Institut Agro Rennes) is a public French grande école within L’Institut Agro, specializing in agriculture, food science, horticulture, environment, and landscape. Based mainly in Rennes (Brittany) with a second campus in Angers, it trains engineers and scientists for agri-food, rural development, and environmental sectors through master’s-level engineering programmes, research, and partnerships with public research bodies and industry. It continues the legacy of Agrocampus Ouest and earlier agricultural higher-education schools on the Rennes site, combining teaching, applied research, and international mobility. Programmes cover plant and animal production, food processing, agroecology, and territorial management, with strong links to Brittany’s agri-food economy and European research networks.
