Indiana University Bloomington

Indiana University Bloomington is the flagship campus of the Indiana University system and a leading public research university located in Bloomington, Indiana. Founded in 1820, it is one of the oldest public universities west of the Allegheny Mountains. The university offers more than 550 academic programs across undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels through highly ranked schools such as the Kelley School of Business, Jacobs School of Music, Maurer School of Law, and the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. IU Bloomington is classified as an R1 doctoral university with very high research activity and is known for strong programs in business, music, public affairs, informatics, and the arts and sciences. The campus spans nearly 1,940 acres in a wooded, urban setting in south-central Indiana. The Hoosiers compete in NCAA Division I Big Ten Conference athletics.
