The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy is the graduate school of international affairs at Tufts University, located in Medford, Massachusetts. Founded in 1933 with a generous gift from Austin Barclay Fletcher, it is the oldest graduate school of international affairs in the United States. The school is named after Austin B. Fletcher, a Tufts alumnus and diplomat, and was established to train students in international law, diplomacy, economics, and political relations. It offers a range of graduate programs including the Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD), Master of International Business (MIB), Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law, Master of Arts in Humanitarian Assistance, Master of Arts in Security Studies, and PhD programs, along with various joint and dual degrees with other Tufts schools and partner institutions.
