Black Hills State University

Black Hills State University (BHSU) is a public, four-year university located in Spearfish, South Dakota, in the scenic Black Hills region. Founded in 1883 as Dakota Territory's first normal school, it has evolved into a comprehensive regional university offering undergraduate and graduate programs in fields such as education, business, the arts and humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.
