Cours Florent

Cours Florent is one of France’s best-known private drama and performing-arts schools, based in Paris and specializing in stage acting, cinema, and musical theatre. Founded by François Florent, it has long been a major pathway into French film, television, and theatre, with alumni among leading French-speaking actors and directors. Instruction emphasizes practical studio work, scene study, voice, movement, and audition preparation, alongside related creative disciplines. Beyond its historic Paris presence, the school has developed additional sites and programs (including international outreach) while remaining primarily a professional conservatory-style training institution rather than a traditional research university.
