Berklee College of Music

Berklee College of Music is a private independent music college headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1945 by Lawrence Berk, it began as Schillinger House and later became Berklee School of Music before taking its current name in 1970. It is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading institutions for contemporary music, jazz, popular music, music production, film scoring, and music business, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as diploma programs. The college operates a primary urban campus in Boston’s Back Bay and an international campus in Valencia, Spain.
