The Graduate Institute Geneva IHEID

The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), commonly known as the Graduate Institute Geneva, is a specialized graduate and research institution in Geneva, Switzerland. It is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading centers for the study of international relations, development studies, international law, international economics, and political science. The Institute offers master’s and PhD programs and hosts a number of research centers focused on global governance, humanitarian action, trade, finance, and development. The institution was originally founded as the Graduate Institute of International Studies in 1927 and took its current form in 2008 through the merger with the Graduate Institute of Development Studies.
