Its main campus is in Taradale, Napier, with additional campuses in Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) and Auckland. EIT offers certificates, diplomas, degrees, and postgraduate programmes across areas such as business, computing, health, nursing, viticulture and wine science, trades, creative arts, and social sciences. Founded in 1975 as Hawke’s Bay Community College and later renamed Eastern Institute of Technology, it has long served regional learners with applied, career-focused education and strong industry links.
