Erasmus Mundus ME3 (European Joint Masters in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy) is not a university in the Netherlands. It is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree programme run by a European university consortium. Students follow a mobility track across partner institutions and earn a joint or multiple master’s degree focused on energy systems, environmental engineering, and the management of energy and environmental projects. The programme combines engineering and management coursework with industry-oriented projects and international mobility. Consortium partners have historically included leading technical and engineering schools in Europe (commonly cited partners include institutions in France, Spain, and Sweden, among others). Admission is competitive and typically requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, strong academic records, and English proficiency. Because ME3 is a joint degree programme rather than a single campus-based Dutch university, it has no standalone Netherlands university charter, single main campus, or institution-wide enrollment figures comparable to a research university.
