The Hochschule Bielefeld – University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI) is the largest state university of applied sciences in the East Westphalia-Lippe region of Germany. Founded on 1 August 1971 through the merger of several technical and vocational schools, it offers practice‑oriented bachelor's and master's programmes across six faculties, including Design and Art, Engineering and Mathematics, Social Sciences, Business, Health, and the Minden Campus. With its three locations in Bielefeld, Minden and Gütersloh, HSBI serves over 10,000 students and maintains close collaborations with regional industry and cultural institutions.
