Direct answer
A university page is eligible for indexing only after its canonical entity, country, institution type, official website, sources, summary, conflicts, and verification date pass the publication gate.

- Canonical university profiles, rankings, programme links, English requirements, aliases, duplicate review, and redirects.
- Important exceptions
- A mechanically backfilled field is not treated as verified evidence. Campuses, pathway providers, course fragments, and aggregator records require separate identity review.

Detailed method
- 1.Canonical identity uses normalized names, aliases, official domains, country and city, external identifiers, and a manual review queue.
- 2.Rankings are separate records containing provider, ranking name, scope, subject where relevant, rank or band, year, source URL, and verification date.
- 3.English requirements are stored at the institution or programme scope with an official source and verification date; component scores are never inferred by subtracting from the overall score.
- 4.Verified fields cannot be overwritten by weaker evidence during a merge. Legacy slugs must redirect directly to the canonical record.
Source hierarchy and corrections
Official institutions, governments, regulators, accrediting bodies, and the named ranking provider are preferred for sensitive facts. Genuine first-party business records are required for NexStudy claims. Corrections can be reported through the contact page.
